Are
you a full-time coach or do you help out at your kids practices, have
you worked in the concession stand, or have you helped with Opening Day
or the Skills Challenge?
If so, your company may consider that time "volunteer hours" and will
make a donation to support the Northside Cal Ripken League. Often times
employers will donate money on behalf of their employees who give time
as a volunteer for certain non-profit organizations.
For example, State Farm will donate $500 on behalf of their employees
who give at least 40 hours of volunteer service to non-profit
organizations.
If you have given volunteer time to Northside, please check with your
employer to see if they make any type of donations for this activity.
