Evaluation Changes & Volunteers, Coaches, Scholarship, and Coupons

Evaluations This Weekend Due to a change in division format for 2019, player evaluations for the Rookie division are not required. Therefore the February 23rd scheduled Rookie evaluations have been cancelled. Minors and Majors evaluations will remain on February 24th at 1pm (Minors) and 3pm (Majors) but will take place on the Hollymead Lower Field, weather permitting. If we experience inclement weather, the evaluations for those two divisions will take place inside the Sutherland Gymnasium. Please monitor your email and/or the league website and Facebook page. In order to help run player evaluations in minors and majors, we need three parents to volunteer to assist for each session. Pritchett Scholarship Applications for our annual Pritchett scholarship must be submitted by Friday, February 22nd.  Please see our website for additional information and the application. DICK'S Sporting Goods Appreciation Day DICK'S annual appreciation day, when any Northside Baseball League participant with the appreciation day flyer can receive 20% off his/her purchase (some exclusions apply), is Saturday, March 2nd at the 5th Street Station, Charlottesville store. You can also bring the baseball coupon sheet, which is good for discounts at Dick's Sporting Goods (as listed on the coupon), all season long.  This can't be used on Appreciation Day.   The great thing about Little League was that anyone could play. - Keith Hernandez

Spring 2019 Tournament Team Tryouts

Tryouts for Northside's Spring Tournament teams will be held as follows:

• 9U - Sunday, February 17, 1-3 pm, Carson Raymond Field (Coach Darian Cochran)
• 10U - Sunday, February 24, 5-6:30 pm, Carson Raymond Field (Coach Mike Pariseau)
• 11U - Sunday, March 17, 5-6:30 pm, Carson Raymond Field (Coach Steve Yow)
• 12U - Saturday, March 2, 11 am - 1 pm, Carson Raymond Field (Coach Chris Guyton)

2019 Pritchett Scholarship

We are currently accepting applications for our annual Pritchett scholarship.  If you have a son or daughter or know of someone who meets the qualifications and could benefit from this scholarship please submit an application by 2/22/19. Spring 2019 Registration Deadline Approaching

Hurry, hurry! Time is running out to register for the Spring 2019 season. Limited spaces are available in all divisions. On-time registration ends on February 1st. We will accept late registrations if there is space. Check out our information form or website for more details.
