Opening Day is just days away!
Please join us to celebrate Northside Opening Day on Saturday, March 28th.
Wear your uniform, or just your team hat and shirt, and come enjoy the
fun. Our concession stand will be open, special guests will be in
attendance and Rivanna Gear and Apparel, Med Express Urgent Care and
the Charlottesville Tom Sox will have tables set up with everything you
need to play or enjoy watching the game! Here are a few important
things you need to know:
- Ceremonies will begin promptly at 9:00 and should end by 11:00 am.
- All players should arrive by 8:45 so that we can be ready to start on time.
- Players will report directly to their coach on the Carson Raymond Field upon arrival and remain with their team until the ceremony is over.
- Parents, family members and friends can watch the ceremony and wait for their player on the bleachers and along the outside of the fence.
- Beginner and Advanced T-Ball players will be dismissed through the right field gate, near the concession stand after the teams are announced and the National Anthem.
- Volunteers wearing bright orange shirts will be available to answer any questions you may have and assist your and/or your player.
Games will take place on both
Hollymead fields shortly after the ceremony ends, so feel free to grab
a snack at the concession stand and take in an inning or two. Come on
out and cheer our players on to welcome in another great season at
Northside!
